Help

How QNN HQ works, one screen at a time. Pick a section; each picture is the real page.

Getting around

The bar at the top is the same on every page once you are signed in: Home is your dashboard, All nets is every published net, Clubs opens the directory and each club you belong to, Profile is you, and Help is this page.

The Clubs menu open in the top bar, listing All clubs and one club whose tabs fly out to the right
Hover a club under Clubs to see its tabs: Nets, Live, History, Roster and the rest your role opens.

Long pages carry a row of section names under the title. Pick one and only that section shows.

Finding a net

Nothing here needs an account. The front door lists what is on the air now, what starts soon and what is coming this week.

Your account

An account is your callsign. Create one to follow clubs, keep your check-in record and join a club when it invites you.

Club members

A club adds you from its Users page. Once you are a member, the club's announcements and forum appear under Clubs.

Running a club

Club admins see the club's tabs under Clubs. Nets is where a net is made and published; each net has a script and its own fields.

The club's nets list: each net a block with its schedule, frequency and Script, Fields, Edit and Delete actions
Nets: one block per net, with its next session and whether it is published.
A net's script: numbered segments with Up, Down, Edit, Cut and Delete on each row
The script: what net control reads and does, in order. Reorder with Up and Down or Cut and Paste.
The club roster: callsigns and names, with add and edit controls
Roster: the callsigns the club expects on its nets, so check-ins match by name.
The club's Users page: members with their roles and pending invites
Users: who belongs to the club and what each can do. Invite by email; change a role; remove.
Club Settings with its section index: self-registration, public roster, retention, public pages, logo, Discord, audit trail, embed
Club Settings: each block states its value and saves on its own. The Logo block takes a PNG, JPEG or WebP.

Net control

An NCO or admin starts a session from Live. The script sits on the left; the log takes a callsign and a note in one line.

A live net: the script pane, the check-in log with the callsign field, and the elapsed time in the header bar
Running a net: type a callsign, press Enter. The roll call and the tally update as you go.
History: one block per net with its session and check-in counts
History: every ended session, its check-ins, the audit log, and a CSV download.

SANDARC admin

Staff with an org role see Admin in the bar. Clubs are created there and invited by email; accounts and callsign changes are handled there.
